If you’re still in college or about to enter college, my friend, here is what you should do. You may or may not realized it, but your days in college are reaching towards the end. Create as much as memorable memories before saying goodbye. Although a lot of people say ‘I can’t wait to finish college’, but they only want the burden to end, not the joy or the happy time. Here’s what you should do:

Travel

Travel as much and as far as you can with your friends. Create your budget list so you don’t spend too much and waste your parent’s money. Alone or with friends, you choose. Travel alone allows you to reflect yourself, think deeper, and create that inner peace within you.

‘A journey is best measured with friends, rather than miles’ — Tim Cahill

Everything is better with friends. Whether it is a 3 hours road journey, climbing hills, explore the thick jungle, or even relax on a beach- everything is fun when doing it together. There’s always something special when traveling with friends.

Discover new things

College is a wonderful time for self-discovery. Get drunk, skip class, survive, and have fun- but not too much though. College is not just about a piece of paper, a cap, and a gown. Explore more.

Get a driver’s license

Getting a driver’s license in college may be a little bit difficult but trust me, it’s worth it. You can ask your friend to teach you how to drive. They said friends are the best teacher. After graduating, you don’t have to waste your time on getting a driver’s license, it’s time for you to go out and start looking for job.

Late night walk

Late night walk with friends is better than anything. It’s a great tonic for stress and it’s a wonderful sensation, walking under the road light. Talk about life, share your problems, laugh together, cry together, and remember those nights. Get into a deep conversation that lasts late at night.

Push yourself out of your comfort zone

Instead of staying in your safe circle, go out, and experience a new environment. You never know your strength if you don’t have that momentum that pushes you. You won’t experience personal growth, you can’t overcome your fear and you’re hard to feel self-fulfilled.

Make friends with international students

Exchange culture, learn their language and help them make memorable experiences in college. Some international students have difficulties to blend into a new society or environment. Help them throughout their journey in your place.

Take another class instead of your major class

Your major is important but it won’t hurt to take another one. In your major is Science, take art class, music or marketing. Learn something new that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

What I’m saying is, live your life to the fullest. Okay? Have fun out there, explore the world’s reality and find your path. It’s better to say ‘ I regret doing this’ rather than ‘I regret that I didn’t do this’. You have your own way of living and the key to a happy life is in your hand.
